Eastleigh 10k

Another race a little bit further afield saw some local runners produce some super speedy times. The Eastleigh 10k was won in a time of 30.04 by Severn ACs Josh Lilly, who held off Blackburn's Ben Fish in a sprint finish. Two Westbury athletes were in action - with the ever improving John Collier finishing 25th in a time of 32.07, and Sam Dalgleish, fresh from his exploits in last weekend's Midland 12 stage Road Relays, clocking 32.14 to finish 29th.

In the ladies race, Laura Kenney of Royal Sutton Coldfield won the event in 32.46, with Bristol & West's Claire Hallissey 2nd in 33.08.
