It's now just a week until the Gwent League comes to Blaise Castle, with the event taking place on Saturday December 4th. As well as all manner of Jnr categories, the senior races are looking exciting. In the Senior Ladies race as 12.35 - there should be a lot of local interest as Bristol & West's Ellie Wimshurst and Westbury's Debbie Marsden will look to keep their top 3 places from the first race back in Bridgeend. Meanwhile in the men's event, former Harrier Joe Dalgleish will be fighting it out at the top end and expect a surprise or two from Matt Ellis, making his debut in the League in what promises to be a top quality field. The men's race kicks off at 2pm.
